What is it NOT compatible with? Nothing that I know of! This is all new code and very much its own thing so I can't imagine it could conflict with much of anything!

1 - remove files from previous versions, if any
2 - REQUIRED: Lumpinou's Toolbox Library-Mod.
If you don't already have it, grab the REQUIRED "Lumpinou's Toolbox" Library-Mod here (alt: here), and put it into your mods folder or one subfolder, NO DEEPER.
3 - grab the .package file from this post (link below), and put it into your mods folder or one subfolder.

2024-06-11 20:49:57 +0000 UTCHey, just wanted to first tell you how much of a difference in gameplay your mods have brought. Your work is the reason why I keep playing Sims 4. I was wondering if any updates are planned for this mod, I know it is only available for young adults and up, but I was wondering if any future changes can apply to teens or if you are planning on making a mod intended specifically for teen romance. Or if there any other mods that you can recommend? Do not want to place you under pressure, I know you are currently working on a new Law & Disorder addition, I'm just curious.

I have cheated their friendship to 90 and did more interactions afterwards.. but the ask to become couple is not working. I know before I didn't know it was an option, I had to have them end the relationship and start a real one. But I decided to go back through your mod description.. I seen it is an option.. But, its not working, nor has it ever worked for me.

2022-10-01 07:24:29 +0000 UTCHi! I know you are taking a long overdue break so I'm not expecting a reply anytime soon, I just wanted to post this while I'm playing and see a potential issue. I have two Sims who were FWB before the July 26th update and everything that came after. Tonight they interacted for the first time since then and when I select the "Gauge Relationship Development" option, nothing happens. I used to get a message that would pop up telling me what their relationship was and whether or not they were heading into the feelings danger zone, but as of right now I don't get anything. Not sure if this is an issue others are having or just me, and if you have any suggestions as to that might be the snafu?

2022-06-30 10:54:29 +0000 UTCYou very likely have an infinite recursion problem. It's got nothing to do with my mods in themselves, but with having too many mods that inject things in the game the same way. You could verify that by launching the game with no mods except mine.

Or do you have to manually control some households/NPC sims for a while and engage them in such arrangement with someone? I think it'd be interesting to have some NPC FWB happening - maybe single, romantic sims could do that. Let me know ^^ Thanks!

2021-11-26 18:20:01 +0000 UTCDo all these apply: What Sims can ask another to be Friends with Benefits? To be able to ask, there must be a third of the friendship bar full between those Sims. Sims must also be adult (= Young Adult to Elder). A Sim can't make that offer to boyfriends/girlfriends and spouses. For some reason I also blocked it from ex-partners, I might change my mind later.

I can't seem to find it under Actions or Romance, but I do see a Friends with Benefits section under Actions to make the sim incapable of feeling jealous. But I can't find where to start the actual relationship. Thank you!

2021-06-02 10:13:29 +0000 UTCThat moved with the other settings from the mod, under the 'actions' menu. 'ask to be friends with benefits' is in the romance section, if it's accepted then the FWB menu will appear between those Sims. Open love life has options in the romance menu as well, same way. I am making an update for open love life right now to add two more relationship types which I am finishing today, so if you are interested you may want to grab it again in a few days. Are your files no deeper than one subfolder in the mod folder and are script mods installed?

2020-11-20 17:04:57 +0000 UTCHi! My sims seem to be getting jealous even though they've entered a "friends with benefits" relationship. One of the sims already had a romantic relationship with the FWB partner. When they entered the FWB agreement the romance bar went into the red zone and the romance bar didn't disappear like in the other FWB relationship. I also was wondering if WW interations will still make Sims jealous if this mod is applied, or if those interations are protected by FWB as well.

2020-08-26 19:28:23 +0000 UTCThank you so much for this. I have some sims I wanted to be aromantic and before it felt like my options were to make them be unflirty. Which wasn't useful. It made it harder to build romance (and made them uncomfy with other people being romantic), but the still built it. The rest of my sims that I would want to have FWB arrangements, I've just been using polyamory cheats to disable jealousy and ending up with a bunch of high romance relationships, which wasn't ideal but I could live with. This will help clear that up, but seriously just, really really thank you for making something so I can have my sims be "yes sexual" but aromantic at the same time.

Worst thing that could happen is, the WooHoo interactions that apply to FWBs will disappear, but they can still do the stuff from WW for example. It's compatible with WW. Could be that the WooHoo interactions from the FWB menu don't even disappear. Now in WW I'm fairly sure romance points are not needed for two sims to do things together, so that won't be an issue with my mod blocking romance between them.

In the Sims world it's impossible for two people to not like each other as much as the other does 😂 yeah, even if we were to use alternate relationship tracks. BUT this here lady (me) is perhaps a little crazy because I want to attempt it... I have a few ideas I absolutely want to put to the test. But there's chances it just can't be done 😂 because relationship tracks are always completely reciprocal. Buuuuut I went to try it. Perhaps with enough cleverness something can be done... This is the next thing I will work on once done with the Woohoo Wellness mod.

You know, where one sim would fall in love with the other and isn't sure if the feeling is mutual. Crushes, daydreaming about how they might confess, anxious about their response, and then to be able to somehow influence the 'chrushee's' reaction to a confession or having them find out some other way. Are they overjoyed, appalled, intrigued? Have they been mutually pining or friendzoned the other sim? The roleplay and drama options would be endless, I’ve always wanted something like this for the sims!
