I think you are right about the sequence in ED :) It's interesting how the ones saying or lip-synching "Sayonara" in the lyrics are Hikaru and Yoshiki in the last part of the ED (as they are both in summer attire). I know some of the scenes (like the marinated chicken) between them could be really bizarre and uncomfortable.... but at the same time, its their peculiar relationship/bond and that makes this story more intriguing.
