Well, it WAS fun seeing how spot on you were with the taibon and such, then we got to the second part of the episode... How painful that was is just another testament to how well written this is. Maomao calling her Shisui there got me again. Uh I mean, strangely enough the onions were here too.

But I want to say that your theorycrafting may not have been up to snuff for Season 1, but this show teaches you gradually how much is enough. With another show these kinds of theories would amount to crazy-thinking, so you need to learn that crazy-thinking is normal. I feel I have to explain everywhere I go how red/green color blindness works. A woman cannot have the trait, that is, express it, unless she gets one gene from each of her parents. A man only needs one, indeed, can only have one, and it necessarily comes from his mother. A man cannot inherit the gene (both it and the trait) from his father. A woman can inherit one copy from her mother, but that would make her a carrier only. This means Shenmei is a carrier at least.
