This is that legendary episode everyone talks about. Top-tier animation, masterful direction, with a showstopper ending. Every time, this episode just leaves me floored. As Furby mentioned, that ending insert track, "What you don't know", is sung by Rie Murakawa, Ram's VA. Emilia's VA (Takahashi), Rem's VA (Minase), and Ram's VA are all professional singers. After an ED (Stay Alive) and two insert tracks (Boy's Dream, Door) from Emilia, an insert track from Rem (Wishing), it was only a matter of time before Ram got an insert track too. About the "sisters" comment by Elsa: They're not sisters by blood; it's more that that they've become like sisters through living as assassins. Garf recognizes this by the way they protect each other, similar to how he and Frederica do. Him calling them sisters actually really surprises Elsa.
2021-08-14 05:29:10 +0000 UTCGarf has always had mild regenerative abilities when touching the ground, though not nearly as powerful as Elsa's. That's a really interesting detail though. It definitely wasn't an animation mistake; it's to show that Elsa had stopped regenerating - she had run out.
2021-08-14 03:06:50 +0000 UTCFun little bit that gets missed this episode, after they bite each other, the wound on her Elsa's neck remains where as the wound on Garfiel's neck has healed by the time he picks up the rock pigs corpse, unknown if its an animation mistake or that Garfiel now has her regenerative abilities after the bite.
