I have couple of thing to clear up a lot of people don’t really understand that the queen of Naboo is an elected position, like President, but with a better name. Padme was only like 11 or 12 when she was elected Queen shortly before the events of Episode 1. The people of Naboo like to elect young people because of their idealistic beliefs. Natalie Portman looks a lot older. The Clone troopers are NOT the stormtroopers from the original trilogy. While they look similar, they are very different. The Clones were cloned from Jango Fett, the Stormtroopers are conscripts from the human population. It is also explained in the Star Wars Rebels tv series( would highly recommend it and the Clone Wars series), the reason for their notoriously bad aim is they can’t see very good with their helmet There are two reasons why Mace Windu( Samuel L. Jackson) has a purple lightsaber. First is the out of universe explanation, that is that Jackson wanted to find himself in the giant battle scene and his favorite color is purple. The in-universe explanation is that all lightsaber crystals( a critical element in creating a lightsaber) start out colorless until it resonates with the Force that makes it known to a particular Jedi while meditating, that it gains it’s color, usually Blue or Green. In extremely rare instances that a lightsaber crystal will emit a purple blade.
