What a reaction, Leia. This is such a beautiful and heartbreaking film, and your reaction didn't disappoint. There are a lot of interesting facts about this movie, but I don't want to bore you with a novel, so I'll just leave a few here. There is a story about a holocaust survivor who was at the camp where Amon Geoth was stationed. She was on the set of the film while it was being made. It's said that when she saw Ralf Fiennes, he was so convincing in his portrayal of the real Amon Geoth that she left shaking and in tears. While making this film, Spielberg and the crew were so deeply affected by it that when Robin Williams heard about it, he started calling them up after every shooting day, at which point he would do an improve to lift their spirits. When he got the biggest laugh, he'd hang up. The music in this movie is composed by John Williams, the same composure who did the scores for movies like Jurassic Park, E.T., Star Wars, Superman, Jaws, and dozens of other masterpieces. When Spielberg asked him to do the music for Schindler's List, John Williams said, "You need a better composer for a movie like this," and Spielberg said, "I know, but they're already dead." Great Job, Leia. Can't wait to see what else you and this channel have in store for us.
