The ring that Himmel gave Frieren the flower is still blooming or in it's bud still, signifying a one sided love that would never manifest. While the bracelet that Stark gave Fern is the opposite, the flower is in fool bloom meaning a love that will come to fruition.

I appreciate how you talk about the animation in this show, surprisingly to me it seems a lot of reactors do not, and I think it really adds to the reaction and discussion. I also agree with you at the end there, I feel this show is something special and it's great to watch these reactions along with it.
