Anyway, I really like how in-depth this episode was! It really felt like I was re-living the highschool experience through them lol.

But yes you’re right they are subverting the incest anime trope

You were acting as if Hachiman said something strange or sus when in reality he literally just said exactly what the reality is lol, no one's into their little sister like that. The whole point was that it's a subversion of the typical anime little sister trope :P
