I share your interest in the subject. My skepticism is pretty had to crack. I definately believe we are not alone in the universe, but I have a hard time not finding logical and reasonable explanations for most UAP/UFO reports. I don't recall which SRS episode it was where you described observing a light in the sky before break of dawn (as I recall). The timing and description of your personal observations led me to believe you observed what is known as " satellite glint" aka "satellite flare". When observed it is very confusing and pretty awesome to behold. These "tic-tacs" look suspiciously like "Exoatmosphereic Kill vehicles" (EKV). EKV tech can be seen on YouTube but keep in mind the video you see there are from the 1980s and the EKVs have no skin/faring which was supposed to be skinned in stealth material. The faring would be aerodynamic. The EKV concept was first intended to be anti-nuke missiles. The THAAD missle defense system was a spin off. There was the RKV as well. This was all public info. So "tip of the iceberg" rule says their was nuch more beneath the surface. One concept was to deploy the EKV/RKV type vehicles that were autonomous and not limited to kenetic strike against Soviet air assets in the event the Soviets invaded Western Europe. The U.S. could xheck and "attrition USSR aur assets by launching a stealth ICB cruise missile that could deploy up to 12 Kill vehicles that would seek and destroy Soviet air assets while giving precious time for NATO forces to marshal a response. If I wanted to test such a system today, I would test it against the best most tech advanced fighting forces in the world Which is the U.S. Armed forces. I'd slip a couple EKVs into U.S. training exercises and study the repsonse. Remember what you see on YouTube is tech is from 1988ish. Imagine the advances in the now.
