2020-10-01 22:48:13 +0000 UTCFirst point: I definitely assumed she got pregnant soon after she won the pageant and that's why she never went to college plus whatever had to do with her mom being an alcoholic so it's not like she could help her Second point: Girl i just thought they weren't father/daughter because i never seen a biracial man and a brown skin woman have a dark skin child but I digress, I think they were really father/daughter.. there relationship was just complicated because turqoise and his was Third point: I love how multi dimensional the mother/daughter relationship was too. When we see the hardworking mom/rebellious teenager dynamic, its always so ugly and hateful but they not only loved each other, they genuinely liked each other and wanted the best Fourth point: Ronnie could definitely be seen as an anti-hero but I've seen this in real time lmao black men who love their kids and their babymamas but also don't want to make the effort. They don't have that push to put their children before ANYTHING like the mom does which is why I have no excuses for them.
