I understand the frustration and yet was strangely amused by it, too. If I see someone impersonate you or any of my friends, I report them. The funniest ones are the celebrity impersonators like the other day I got a DM from “Salma Hayek”. LOL Oh yeah, Salma is going to take time out of her busy schedule and send this guy a DM. Right. 😉 Telegram IS notorious for scammers. I will ask for someone’s phone number and then see if they want to FaceTime or video chat. They will usually have some excuse which is proof they’re a scammer. Anyways, Mary, I truly hope you have had a Happy 2023 and that 2024 is your best year ever. 🍒
