My favourite of the original films has always been Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, then the second and first film is my least favourite.

2023-02-19 18:48:27 +0000 UTCThe Road Warrior was my favourite. It's also the first one I saw (watching Ma Max afterwards was a strange experience.) Some things of note...I only learned a few years ago the actor who played Wez, aside from somewhat reprizing this role in Weird Science, also played Bennette in Commando (my favourite Schwarzeneggar movie). Also found out recently he voiced Samael in the Darsiders games. As far as the Miles "not being very Austraillian", as I understand it the move to metric was early/mid 70s, and this released in the US in 1982. At the time, it wasn't odd for older folks used to the imperial system to still use it...so it might've had something to do with that.
