2022-11-24 07:37:33 +0000 UTCThe reason why everything including the police in the movie looks run down, ragged, dirty, and poor looking is that society is collapsing in the movie. Everything is falling apart. Basically Mad Max takes place a few years before the apocalypse. All the other Mad Max films take place in a post-apocalypse setting. I'd also recommend the Australian movie Gallipoli 1981 which also stars Mel Gibson. Also yeah continue the Mad Max movies, this was awesome.
