You should definitely check out Classic Who - it is huge though, probably worth just watching select stories - from this I would recommend 'Genesis of the Daleks' it features Sarah Jane, the 4th Doctor (one of the fan favourites), the daleks, and one of the best villains in the show. There's plenty of other great ones, but that's a good first story to watch. Also, the composer for series 1-10 is Murray Gold, he is also returning from Series 14 onwards. Low key one of the best composers on TV. You've got plenty of great tracks to look forward to.
