Also there's the part where he's trying to reenter his compound after they have the limits on assembly and he keeps getting hit by the guard, and Six picks him up. I think you found it comical at the time but didn't notice that he's literally clearly being picked up by an invisible entity. I think that was one of the moments I really started to take the 'one true god' and 'angel' stuff seriously :)

A bunch of people weren't happy with the 'they are angels' religious story, but they've literally been telling us that since S2. Worth watching this scene from early in S2 again in retrospect lol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4a1qDP4RJY&ab_channel=BattlestarGalactica Starbuck led 'humanity' to its end because the entire of the 'human' race on our Earth is actually a new race born of human and cylon through Hera as mitochondrial eve, so she's the 'shape of things to come' and Starbuck led them to the end of what they consider humanity and the start of a hybrid race that we belong to. - all the weird things happening with gaius throughout, when he lacked faith and the Olympic Carrier showed up, he submits to the angel Six and then Roslin decides to destroy it. There was the ep where he picked a random spot on the cylon tilium factory from photos and pretended he knew it was the right spot, angel six said let God guide his hand. There was him saying about take my life instead of the sick boy in his cult, then the next day he gets threatened with a straight razor by a New Caprica survivor who lost their son, and angel Six is stood in front saying did you mean it? He shouts 'do it! do it!' to the guy, then his helper killed the guy holding him, they head back and the kid miraculously recovers the next day. Time and time again, if you ever watch it again the fact the head Six is literally guiding him to this end and there is some higher power at work twisting events around is ever more obvious :)
