Btw curious where the 'trees whispering' theory comes from. Not saying you're wrong or right, its an interesting interpretation and just curious where it came from, as of this point the only thing the whispers has ever been associated with by the characters is the Others. When Sayid asked to Danielle 'have you ever seen them? The others?' and Danielle said 'No, but I hear them. They whisper'. The tailies hear whispers and panic because they expect the Others.
