EARLY/UNCUT: Breaking Bad Season 3: Episode 13 (FINALE) "Full Measures" | REACTION

Comments

It's all just guesswork whether or not Gus actually ordered the hit on Tomas. Personally I think he did. I don't see employees of Gus (especially ones he called "trusted") doing something like that on their own without explicit instructions. I think that Gus had it done specifically to bait out Jesse. After all, why would they leave the kid's body in an open and public place? They could have at least hidden the body. I think Gus knew that Jesse would react the way he did (because of how he acted in the meeting) and immediately go get himself killed. That way, Gus could have Jesse removed from the equation in a way that he could justify to Walt.

Good to hear! Season 4 is a fun ride keep up the great work!

Don't worry mate got another one on the way right now, been slow the past month because of Christmas and all but starting to get back in the swing of things now!

Morgan

Just 1 Breaking Bad reaction in the last 22 days??? Don't take away my blue meth I'm addicted.

Diesel

Regarding your question to why Gus was so mad and wanted Jesse dead - I figured Gus always thought of Jesse as no more that an untrustworthy junkie, and killing those guys was the last straw. Gus see's him as a liability and tracking him down to kill him was his best option. And Gus did allow Walt to explain his actions and continue cooking wih Gale.

Diesel

I should have watched the full intro before commenting. :) Mike's "half measures" monologue was amazing too, but there is normally nothing more than a memorized look on reactors faces during that scene.

That is a shame about ep12, but you could post your muted reaction of Walt hitting the dealers and I imagine it would still be 30 seconds of gold :) One of the great Holy Shit moments of the series.

Doug Getchess

Gus has discovered that Walt is a volatile unknown element capable of exposing himself by running over drug dealers in his own family car, as well as being disloyal and going directly going against Gus' wishes and costing Gus money and killing his employees. The one defining personality trait we've seen from Gus is he's extremely careful and risk averse. So it stands to reason he doesn't stand for risk of working with unstable people that he can't fully 100% trust and rely upon to keep attention off them, he was extremely hesitant to working with Walt in the first place due to his perceived lack of being a careful person, and such a person now couldn't be trusted to be kept alive knowing about the details of Gus' operation. Forget your <3 for Walt for a moment and look at it from Gus' perspective, its not an overreaction at all. Having Gale in the lab whom he presumably has 100% trust in would always be the preferred option.

Really sorry to hear about episode 12. It's unfortunate. Half Measures is one of my personal favorite episodes in the entire series. Saying that, I 1000000% wouldn't want you to fake a reaction so thanks for that. I've seen other reactors do that, and it absolutely shows. I appreciate honesty so much more than a fake reaction. Hopefully you are ready for what the fourth season has to bring.

Damn! Why couldn't it have happened to Skam or Glee!

No worries mate, apologies for no ep 12!

For everyone wondering about ep 12, watch the beginning of this because I explain why it's not uploaded. It's unfortunate but shit happens I'm afraid!
