Shakespeare's Sonnets 1-10
Added 2021-11-26 21:58:57 +0000 UTCIn these first ten sonnets, as well as the following seven (up to seventeen) Shakespeare has been commissioned to convince a playboy lord to settle down and have children. He takes the tactic of pausing his beauty and suggesting the only way for him to make his beauty everlasting is to have a child so as to pass his beauty on.

I wish I could show you my notebook. 1st sonnet, page & 1/4 of notes. Second: 40s, wrinkles, unfashionable clothes blah blah blah have a baby! Third: BREED! (Also looked up meaning of un’eared.) Unplowed womb reminds me of Sex Farm by Spinal Tap.
