For example, what in the fuck is a big time Wall St Lib like Bill Ackman, a huge Dem donor, doing tweeting long threads defending Kyle Rittenhouse? That’s just not meant to happen. I can’t yet see his angle, but that’s just totally out of place in the culture war. There is an emerging group of influential elites trying to put the brakes on the lunacy from their own side. Larry Summers has spent all of 2021 voicing his concerns of MMT / full blown luxury communism with more spending by the spreadsheet people. From time to time, do yourself a favor and peruse the comment section of the NY Times, I happened to do it today on an article about inflation, and there’s a good 40% of negative comments over there about Biden. These aren’t just trolls either, I’m talking long comments with tons of likes. There are the libs & there are the progressives. That line used to be hard to differentiate, but this appears to be an attempt to reign in these lunatic progressive fanatics the libs spent all this time radicalizing.

2021-11-12 06:48:12 +0000 UTCWhat if the point of the prosecutor acting unprofessional and crazy, and the media lying to such an obvious and absurd degree about the Rittenhouse case, is to intentionally summon a mob of NPCs and lumpenprole psychos to burn down Kenosha a second time, to collectively punish them for Kyle's actions? Everyone who publicly talks about this case and is even vaguely aware of the facts seems to feel this unspoken imperative to preface their opinions with "Kyle was an idiot for being there, but...". Meaning the cultural zeitgeist has already been established that protecting your community is foolish rather than heroic (in less pathetic times, I'd go so far as to say "normal). A conviction isn't going to move the needle on that as much as the state being able to indirectly summon horde of orks to destroy your community if even a single one of you is foolish enough to challenge them. Collective punishment for all the chuds, because individual intimidation just isn't cutting it
