Where... do I begin. So I did this whole project out of order, and this beginning part overtook January through March of this year. I was working on Pikmin Bits Sub Story and school work alongside this too, but this was a hefty bit of focus for me, esp as some shots would change or be added or removed. This is the start of this months-spanning project, and I don't really know if tyPING AS usual would be enough to express the feeling of putting the start of it someplace.

This one was inspired by DMs with quimb, who also suggested Master Chief and Kratos as entries. He sent me a post that reminded me of the American Dad joke where Stan lists out his favorite fictional dogs. So I figured that Cranky would do a list of his most hated video game heroes. I knew for sure Sonic and Earthworm Jim were on there, as they were in the trash can in Cranky's Video Game Heroes in DKC2.

"DK's Stone Friend" Short + Bonus Material

Lotsa things were revealed lately about the Donkey Kong Bananza videographic game for the Switch 2 system, the most pressing of which were the stone buddy and little Pauline.

I still miss the Kremlings, even though they're likely driven to extinction by now.

This is both a statement of that, and a nod to the Donkey Kong Country TV show episode "Klumps' Lumps", which was about General Klump being fired and resorting to living with the Kongs.

I always love adding stuff to the BG, so this time we have a yellow Pikmin, a squished dude ala Vi the Imp, and a creeeeature in the distance.

DOODLIN' TIME - "Gettin' Tomodachi on Kobayashi"

TOMODACHI LIFE SWITCH ANNOUNCED, MAAAN I've been waiting the whole system span for this, and it was at the tail end. Just like I'm gonna be on Kobayashi's tail end, we're gonna have a baby once the game's out.

Very appropriate that this game's on the way, since I've made it clear with the last animation that I'm gonna start adding characters I like whenever I can, so I may be doing cartoons about the new Tomodachi Life when I get to play it.

"15K on INSTAGRAM" Short + Bonus Material

I'm gonna be releasing this in a new-ish way... I'll be linking the original folder itself with the .PSD files, the original .FLA, the .GIF previews, and so on and so forth.

I've been wanting to release OG files for a while, and I'm starting with this. I'll be re-releasing my old cartoons like this too, once I gather the files into organized folders. Hopefully you all enjoy having the raw stuff itself!

Vi the Imp - "Divine Interception" Banner/Thumb

The first segment of the Vi project is just around the corner, so I needed a good banner for my profiles, as well as a potential thumbnail. I'll likely have to edit it a little for it to better suit the smallness of thumbnailhood, but I'd say this turned out pretty slick!

DOODLIN' TIME - "Breezie with Plenty of Sunshine"

The weather app on my phone described the day as "Breezy with plenty of sunshine", and this was the first thing to come to mind reading that. Also an excuse to draw Breezie from AOSTH, since something ab how she throws kids in rivers gets me actin' up.

NEW UPDATE OF THE END TAGS

I wanna add more to the end tags, so I'll be redoing the supporter pics to simply be the characters, so I can put fan art and any needed credits on the wall. It'll be generally easier to edit as well. The characters are gonna be in jammies, to reflect the naming of the Pillowfort Passage.

AAAHH!!! REAL MONSTERS LOST-ish MEDIA WAS FOUND!

The pilot for AAAHH!!! Real Monsters was somewhat lost media, since the episode DID make it into regular series rotation, but had a lot of edits and added sequences to make it fit for broadcast. However, the original, unedited pilot was kept under wraps for decades until recently, when it resurfaced in a Reddit post. There's a handful of changes, but one big one is an entirely cut shot of Ickis smiling-- so I drew it!

DOODLIN' TIME - DK Vs Fake DK

So the Switch 2 reveal happened, and Mario Kart was shown for a sec, and we saw DK! ...We sure got to see DK.

Ye, I very much prefer the previous design, the new one looks genuinely like a horror bootleg. Yes, it's probably footage of a beta build, but I doubt they'll change it. Ah well, at least we're getting DKCR HD soon, hopefully the design doesn't bleed into future DK titles.

... JUST KIDDING, there ARE no future DK titles.

2025 Branding Imagery Update

 The main reason I drew a new PFP was because I wanted to make a less sleek version of my self-toon. Also because my glasses broke, and I haven't bothered to replace them yet.

The PFP also lead to a new banner. I'm going for a night sky aesthetic for these, cause I love night scenery.

I think I'll put these up on Saturday, depending on if I want to do anything extra with the banner or the ...

In short, I was really disappointed in how poorly the last two Vi Bits did, especially after how well "Nine to Five Feet Under" and kinda "Whisking the Warzone" did (I've been debating on outright cancelling "Up All Night", maybe the lewdness was the sole appeal since things got real quiet once they were toned down.)
