October 2020 Patreon Exclusive Video Oddcast

For anyone who is interested, here is the October Patreon exclusive video.

https://youtu.be/w-6H-o30sAc

It’s a touch over an hour long - but you’ll find chapter marker in the video description on youtube.

At the end of the video I mention how a totally random and unconnected stranger has posted a rip of Movies Vol.1 from VHD - here’s a link to his/her/their video https://youtu.be/bhaelTTzEDQ

I grew up with Cassette and Vinyl, at the same time I was growing up with floppy discs, CDs, MP3 Players and when the Ipod was new (!), my folks brought out their old collection at the same time that I was listening to other stuff, it just became part of my life. For me listening to cassettes and vinyl now is just me holding onto a bit of nostalgia, I just enjoy the physical format. Talking about these old formats as if they're having a massive resurgence is a little ridiculous to me, it generally caters to a specific market and it gets annoying reading those sort of click bait headlines

You see there goes the memory again, because after I put this one out I realised I’d used a MIDI version of that tune in my first video on the Triple deck boombox. So I had it ready to go all along.

Nice one Mat, don't worry about the short term memory loss, it happens to the best of us. If you can find a MIDI version of the 2001 music - Perifractic used a midi version of the "Back to the future" theme on his recent time traveller video - so I think you could use that without fear of copyright claim. I'm sure Richard Strauss would give you permission to use it. :)
