November 2020 Poll Announcement

Before I start, I just want to say: vote if you haven’t already, preferably for Joe Biden. I normally don’t get political here, mainly because if I did most of these would just be long screeds about about eating the rich, but I felt that not saying anything at this point would be irresponsible. Seriously. Vote for Joe Biden. We cannot take four more years of Trump, especially four more years of a Trump who would be 100% aware that he will face no consequences for anything he does and could basically do whatever he wants. That’s all I’m going to say. Thanks for reading.

So, it’s the first of the month, which means I ramble about calendars then actually talk about important stuff. 

This month’s Marvel calendar pic is of Black Panther in a suit that has a mask that exposes the lower half of his face. He’s fighting aliens, I think; possibly Chitauri, though I’m honestly not sure. It’s advertising Ta-Nehisi Coates’ run on Black Panther. I read some of his run in the “A Nation Under Our Feet” trade, which, while I didn’t think was bad, didn’t particularly wow me. I think it might be because Coates is, as far as I know, mainly a poet, and the bit of his Black Panther run I got was his first time doing comics. He was still new to the medium, and it did show. (Note: if I’m wrong about that please let me know) Also, despite being a new run starting with a new issue 1, there was still a lot of continuity there and I felt lost. 

Anyway, let’s get to the part of this that you actually care about: the poll announcement. If you’re new here, first off, hello, welcome, glad to have you here. Secondly, here’s how the poll process works: 

From now until the fifth, you can comment ideas to be voted on. After that ends, you have until the tenth to vote on the submitted ideas. Once voting ends, the suggestion with the most votes wins and will be made into a full pic that should, assuming all goes well, be posted by the end of the month.
