Also! As you may know, the Nomadic Merchants of Elden Ring have two short violin songs that they can play in-game. So for this episode, I commissioned @RoeTaKa to create an original soundtrack that expands upon the music of the merchants. The song starts at 20:30

And there's the inverse too, where you burn yourself with the flame of frenzy, use it to burn the Erd Tree, then use Miquella's needle to purge the frenzy. Melina is technically spared, but the game doesn't acknowledge it.

2022-08-19 19:00:36 +0000 UTCThere's a little detail you can change about the ending, where you let Melina sacrifice herself to burn the Erdtree, then claim the frenzied flame and end the game. The only difference is that Melina doesn't show up in the end cutscene. Not sure what difference it makes lore-wise, but I got this "ending" by complete accident on my first playthrough😅
