Got hit really hard by the flu when I was towards the end of editing this one, feelsbad. The next video will be on the Angels, and then the Firekeepers..and then that's most of the lore covered.
Of course, then Prepare to Cry starts! Anri & Horace are looking like great starts for that. Then hopefully we'll get hit with some DLC news, or news of From Soft's next game.

So... the DLC trailer has come out and... [SPOILERS ALERT] Do you think that it's (partially) set in the Painted World of Ariamis? There's the bridge in the trailer and the Painted World has links do Velka and to the Blades of the Darkmoon (reinforced by Yorshka).

2016-08-01 15:46:51 +0000 UTCThe description of Velka having great influence, even among the Lords/Gods strikes me as mirroring the description of The Fates. Though they are the offspring of Zeus, they hold great power over all beings including the King of the Gods. Which adds to the theory that Velka has/is shaping the Dark Souls Universe.

Vendrick probably didn't think about it being an ill omen since it was a shield with a depiction of it. When he warned him about it the coming darkness, Vendrick payed him no mind, and then the bought with Velstadt probably took place. I'm thinking Velka has always been watching the people who are likely to bear the flame, closer then anyone could imagine. Also the servants of gods aren't invincible, and as we have seen, neither are the gods, and I've lost my train of thought.

On the topic of Londor, what do you think the general lay of the world may look like? will it be towns, ruined castles and temples shrouded in darkness or perhaps may we visit the abyss again ? especially if Kaath has a hand to play in the history of Londor. Very excited indeed.

I think she before existed, but it does beg the question of her origin - what if she was brought into existence as a result of first sin, as the universe's countermeasure? Because in the Age of Ancients there were mainly dragons and pygmies, there were no reference to sin or deities, am I right?
