I am now deep...DEEP into the Rams rabbit hole
Added 2021-12-01 20:39:11 +0000 UTCHey y'all, just a quick update on the Rams episode that you voted for a while back that I've been working on for a couple weeks.
The deeper I dig into this defense - or rather into this team as a WHOLE - the weirder this entire episode gets with trends/tendencies/failures/etc. There's been some crazy stuff happening with McVay's Rams in the second half of virtually every season he's been in LA, and this year is no different.
As a result, this episode is taking WAY longer to make than I originally anticipated and it's become so much more than just "hey look, they traded for Von Miller!"
So in typical Film Room fashion, I am once again asking for your patience while I attempt to figure out what the hell this team is trying to do right now, because as of today I still don't know the answer to that question :)

Brett- you and I had an exchange here about a year ago after the first (bills?) video where you had an on camera bit, and had gone away from the script. I said said at the time I thought the format, without planned wording etc., was effectively a less efficient way of delivering your analysis. Since then I think you've really figured it out and lately you've been nailing it. Well done. On a similar note I think your cocktail sections are cool but lengthier than needed. Last thing is I NEED your advice to know who to blame! Is it Teddy or Shurmur?? :)
