Monthly Recap: March 2020

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. :)

My last game is already two months old and March has been rather quiet in general. So I want to take some time and use this post to talk about a couple of things. (TL;DR at the bottom.)

First off, let's take a look at the current state of the the next game:

As you all know, I didn't publish a game in March. I was hoping to maybe finish The Mystical Maze Part 2 in the last days of the month but then the corona virus rolled around the corner and forced me to focus on other things.

At least I was able to give you guys an early look at TMM2 with two game teasers. The positive feedback further motivated me to finish the game and I really look forward to the full release. ^^

From the beginning, creating TMM2 has been a rather slow and tedious process. Thanks to the support and motivation from you guys and fellow creators (Thank you, Lojack!), the game is very close to being finished now. It's hard to estimate but I'm planning to publish it in the first half of April. Depending on how things evolve with the corona crisis, I might be able to publish the pony version of TMM2 for patrons next weekend. The public release and the other versions will follow soon after.

Now, let's take a small peek into the future:

I already have plans for the game after TMM2. It will be rather short, simple, and linear, so it won't take nearly as long to put together as TMM2. Since a lot of people enjoyed A Day With D. Va, I decided to create another Overwatch game with a different character. More information about that game coming soon. ;)

And there is another topic I'd like to adress in this post:

I'm regularly in contact with other creators on Patreon and many of them were worried about the impact of Covid-19. It makes sense to reevalute your spendings in a time like this, so I can completely understand anyone who needs that money elsewhere right now.  Whenever I'm talking to other creators, I realize how lucky I am to have such an amazing community. It's incredibly comforting to know that I can rely on your support, even in difficult situations like these. :)

I always love talking to you guys, so feel free to send me a message whenever you have something on your mind or on your heart. ^^

In a time like this, sticking together and supporting each other is even more important than usual. Thank you so very much for turning a simple collection of games into an amazing community! :D

TL;DR: The next game will be released soon. The following game will be an Overwatch game. Thank you for your amazing support in this difficult time. Stay safe and healthy! ^^

EDIT: My local government just announced that they'll stick to their strict restrictions regarding Covid-19 for at least three more weeks. That will further delay the release of TMM2 and, as sorry I am about that, there's sadly nothing I can do about it.
