Greetings guys gals and nb pals, we're back once again, with the Yearly Patreon Post (2023) (Delayed).
This time, we dip our toes into LANCER, in which I recently ran the short "adventure" Operation Solstice Rain. Over the duration, I bashed out various bits and pieces (some more serious than others) to spice up the experience.
Here are some (very compressed) clips of a few of those in action:

LANCER, which shares plenty of DNA with D&D 4e, is great fun, but a bit of a pain to set up. I have therefore attached my entire Foundry world, and copies of all the modules used, which should give you a head start.
Note that the Foundry LANCER system only works under Foundry v10; included in the zip README are some rough-and-ready instructions for using an older Foundry version alongside an existing install.
Here's a quick rundown of what's in included in the world, from the zip's README:
Scenes; all the scenes for the 6 combats scenes and connecting beats are preconfigured.
Actors; NPCs and enemy mechs are available in the sidebar for each scene.
Macros; a handful of macros are available in the macro bar/directory. See `media/*` in the zip for demos of these.
Scene transitions; scenes in the navigation bar can be right-clicked -> "Scene Transition". A unique "Final Boss Transition" is available for the final boss ("6 - Wᴀᴋᴇ ᴛʜᴇ Fᴜʀɪᴇꜱ"), and a unique "Credits Transition" for the joke credits scene ("Eɴᴅ Cʀᴇᴅɪᴛs").
Items and Journal Entries; a handful of additional documents used in various scenes.
Playlists; a few ambient tracks linked to various scenes, as well as some bossfight music.
Notably not included is any of the main text of the PDF; you'll need to pick up a copy of Operation Solstice Rain for that. The core LANCER rules are available for free, and additional GM-facing content can be found in the Core Book.
For those interested, LANCER's 3rd-party license is don't be a shithead [sic], under which making the entire system into a videogame is allowed. All credit to the original artists/authors/designers; a full list can be found in the zip's README.
