Group Up and Go

So the mystery feature I alluded to in last week's post ate most of my coding time this weekend, as the solution I thought I had turned out to be awful and unmaintainable and I had to rewrite everything. It happens.
This feature, though, is a "grouping/tagging" system, whereby you can assign spells/items/features(/possible more things in future) to user-defined groups, and have them show up on the main screen of the sheet.
These groups can be named, color-coded, ordered, and quickly shown/hidden to allow you to have separate groups for e.g. "Combat Spells," "Heals," "Social," etc.
A single thing can appear in multiple groups (as demonstrated below) allowing you to have, say, the Command spell under "Prepared Spells," "Combat Spells," and "Social."
Here's a gif demonstrating adding something to a group (note that all spells are by default added to the "Prepared Spells" group, although this is configurable):
(Apologies for the funny green* artifacts, not sure what happened there. View the image directly for the Full 1080p HD™ experience.)

The basic functionality is almost there, but there's features I still want to add. For instance, allowing a group to include a "summary" section where e.g. the total of item values/weights in that group would be displayed. That way, you could have a (possibly hidden, with just the summary showing) group called "Bag of Holding" with which you tag all relevant items.
And I'm afraid that's it for this week. I imagine next week's update will be similarly short (if it exists at all), as my diary is full between games and IRL things. I might do a pass over the site suggestions list, and knock out a few of the smaller odds and ends when I have a spare moment or two. We'll see.
Until next time, stay safe out there.
* [Disclaimer: likely nonfactual information] If you've ever wondered why it's always that specific color of green in broken videos, it's to do with the YUV encoding scheme. Note that green is in the bottom-left corner, i.e. "(0.0, 0.0)" on a 0.0-1.0 coordinate system--"idk lol" defaults to "(0.0, 0.0)" and therefore green. Or so I've been told.

2020-03-26 11:02:26 +0000 UTCIt's been out since FVTT 0.4.0 was released! I just can't post links to it here, because WotC is upset (hence also the lack of posts, and the removal of anything vaguely resembling WotC copyright).
