Lods of Emone
Added 2019-10-13 23:08:55 +0000 UTCSo while I did a lot more playing of D&D than writing software for it this past week/end, I did get a small demo-friendly component* of the character sheet (mostly) done; gifs below**.
Automatic coin splitting (the separator can be adjusted in the settings)***:
<removed>
Automatic coin simplification (with the option to cap at e.g. gold pieces provided in the settings):
<removed>
Coin addition/subtraction (with the option to auto-close after add/subtract provided in the options):
<removed>
And full undo/redo history on all of the above:
<removed>
Beyond this, some more internals were tinkered with. I think I'm now on the path to having a workable solution to a pretty nasty problem stemming from my personal goals as to what the sheet should be capable of (more on that, hopefully, next update?), but intentional vagueness until I'm sure.
* Original coin sprites, do not steal.
** If the gifs look even shittier than normal, it's because I forgot to fix my settings after messing around with them for something unrelated.
*** In the case of an uneven split, any remaining coins are spat back out into the text box (which will be glowing angry red). This is also true for any text the converter doesn't understand, e.g. adding "2 longswords, 200gp" would result in the "2 longswords" being left in the text box. In either case, the process is reversible via the undo button.

Nope, it's standalone; will be part of the main site. Eventually with an importer to allow use in Foundry, is the plan.
