That is a nice detail. I think my favorite part of this episode was just Kaoruko reassuring Subaru how much she values their friendship while also telling her to stop being so hard on herself.

2025-10-06 16:13:27 +0000 UTCA nice detail that the anime skipped over was that when Kaoruko entered Kikyo, she was actually isolated due to the fact that she got in through a scholarship and wasn't from a rich family or anything like that, but she never felt lonely due to Subaru being by her side, so from the beginning Kaoruko has never felt their friendship was onesided, she cares about Subaru just as much as Subaru cares about Kaoruko and it's just so heartwarming and beautiful to see ♥
