If im not mistaken, ippo developed dempsey roll all by himself in the beginning because the coach doesn't want to spoon feed him and then train to refine it. I think the coach just wanted to see that ego and that drive from ippo first. great season! looking forward for season 3 lax! thanks!

2025-05-24 19:34:51 +0000 UTCthe coach just doesn't want ippo to be one dimensional boxer. he realized that ippo stopped fighting on a modern way (the coached talked about using jab for ex same as takamura's left jab) were he relies too much on one move.
