This fight was amazing and to see that both of them were fighting to answer pretty much the same question they have of finding what it meant to be strong or what’s “strength” was beautiful and very symbolic to their characters!

Well... it definitely tied with the Mashiba fight, now they're both my favourites fights of the show. I think I've seen one or two of the most beautiful scenes from this series just in those 2 episodes: one of them was the close up on Sendo's face and the other one was when Ippo was knocked down for the last time and was talking to himself. Another thing that peaked was the fact that when Sendo got up to look Ippo in the face, they focused on Takamura and it seemed like he was about to go in the ring and throw some hands himself, he had the clenched fist and everything, SO GOOD! I also think that Ippo not finding the answer to the question of "what it means to be strong?" was great, it gives the series an additional motive to keep going. One last thing is that I was holding pretty well for the entirety of the fight, but when Sendo came home I gave out. I truly appreciate how you can get so emotionally connected to an anime. Always love your reactions. Good fucking job.
