i agree was upset with this too bc Miyuki’s reason was valid of course but Eijun had no idea about Furuya’s situation so Miyuki could’ve handled that situation better instead of just brushing him off

i remember this episode really getting me upset on eijun's behalf. like when miyuki decided he would catch for furuya first even though he'd previously arranged to catch for eijun. ofc i understand him needing to understand what was going on in furuya's head, but the petty part of me felt upset. it kinda showed that even though eijun has done some fantastic things for the team, he's still kinda on the backburner in some aspects.

This episode is so heavily debated upon specifically because of Miyuki brushing Eijun off. He did promise to catch for Eijun first and then accepted Furuyas ask to throw. It doesn't surprise me that it hurt Eijuns feelings. Miyuki definitely needed to figure out where Furuyas head is at though. It's important for the team.

You're right about the numbers thing, but you'll learn more about that eventually. They didn't explicitly explain this on the previous episodes so don't worry, you did not miss anything! Anyway, I like how they show the pitcher's interaction with their juniors. And how they shown the difference. ( I cannot think of the right word to describe this hahaha) I cannot blame Furuya on what he said, and I think that's actually a pretty nice and calm way to say his thoughts. The way Eijun woke up Asada is so cute, actually in japanese, "it's morning" can be said as "Asa da", so it's like, he's saying "Asada, Asa da!" which makes it more cute haha Anyway... I read that somebody already mentioned to watch Episodes 15 and 16 together, but if you've got the time and energy, I would suggest watching 14, 15, 16 all together! yep they just started calling it numbers this season and you’ll pretty much know more abt it soon! and yeah Miyuki promised to practice with Eijun first which is why Eijun felt somewhat defeated especially how Miyuki worded it like “the Ace wants to pitch”
