head(amame) V2 (and a favor to ask)

Hey Everyone,

Without further adieu, head(amame) v2!

In the zip folder below, you will find all the 3MF's needed to print your very own set of head(amame) V2 in either Open or Closed-back configurations. If you already have a set of head(amame), you have all the parts needed to get going so get printing!

**edit: make sure to separate the V2 files in the slicer**

For those of you too excited to resist turning on your printer and firing up your slicer, feel free to skip this next bit... You may notice that this Patreon is now called "head(amame)" and that's because...

head(amame) will become it's own company under me! (Morgan)

(please keep discussion about this private for now)

There are other changes and details to come in a future post. but the basics are:

In order to make a splash on the new website and social media pages, I'm looking for a hand with PICTURES!

As the head(amame) V2 roll off your little DIY assembly lines, please take some incredible photos. Photos on printers and during assembly are great, but daily use is even better!

If you have spare time/energy, I'd love some shots of your head(amame) and min(amame) while you are working, gaming, listening to music... Any place you are using them in everyday life, show them off, post them anywhere! If I love them, I'll ask you to use them in the website/marketing for the new launch!

Other than that, just enjoy them, enjoy the printing process, and enjoy some music with your friends! I cant wait to see your V2 Prints shown off!

Happy Printing!

Morgan

PS, John and I are totally cool, we just realized we have separate paths and will remain friends through this whole transition period and long after :)

yeah, i can not get it to work with these settings, (version 2.0 and below for the open back files) there is pieces with solid parts where there is supposed to be only infill... here is a picture of the sliced files https://ibb.co/vZQMg71

Pre configured files will be released soon, but for now I can tell you that you need to go into object settings, and make the following changes for the infill objects: Wall thickness 0 Top thickness 0 Bottom thickness 0 Gyroid infill - 11% Infill anchor 0 Head(amame) actually the reason this setting got put in orca slicer! https://github.com/SoftFever/OrcaSlicer/issues/136

i am sitting in front of orca slicer, i want to print the open back design... but somehow i can not get the top to be hollow... it would be nice if you could provide more details on this or put out presliced files...
