I loved this movie, and I dont understand why people are so harsh and hating on the fact that Nani "gave up" Lilo. Like do yal not know how shitty this country is when it comes to CPS and custody. The first time she agreed to "give Lilo up" was less of a choice and more about doing what was best for Lilo as well as have the hospital bills covered and Lilo getting health coverage. Also, the fact that Nani had not job, no way to pay the bills she already had, plus getting slapped with a massive hospital bill, even if she "chose" to keep her sister, they would turn around and just immediately find Nani unfit and take Lilo! Also, at the end, it felt less like Nani giving Lilo up and more like just accepting help from their neighbor to watch Lilo while she went to college, which would theoretically (though not in this shithole country that hates its citizens) allow her to get a better job so she can take care of Lilo! Also, you clearly didnt pay attention in the beginning when they said that if Stitch gets wet, he mass will continue to increase as he sinks and he will drown.
