2025-08-02 20:13:44 +0000 UTCI agree with those recommending a watch through of at least season 1 of Lucha Underground. Seasons 1 and 2 were actually among my favorite stretches of wrestling ever. The shows are like no other, very cinematic and unique storytelling. It did have plenty of crazy matches like this, and they really felt different especially because of the layout of the temple. Lot of episodes though. Season 1 had weekly shows for 39 episodes before having maybe a couple months off before the next season.
