So in regards to the Ring announcer: The cadances are indeed similar in moany promotions, but Noahs 2000s Ring announcer is also All Japans 90s ring announcer, so that might be why it sounds so familiar to you. NOAH was basically a big Exodus of most All Japan talent because of differences between Misawa and Giant Babas widow. Edit: In regards to the pace, ITS really more a question of Style more than time. All Japans/NOAHs "Kings Road" style is often a bit slower, building to the emotional payoff in the home stretch. Like in this match IT was about two cocky young guns pissing off the old guy and the guy he mentors with stiff kicks and no respect. Also At this point in time Misawa couldnt go Kentas and Shibatas pace even If He wanted to. At the Same time wrestlers in for example Michinoku Pro did "flippy Shit" in the 90s that people still try to emulate. And even in NOAH itself, High Speed battles of Marufuji and KENTA in the 2000s were basically the inspiration for the Generation thats currently wrestling. So basically to sum it Up: Todays AEW pace was born in the 90s, popularized in the 2000s, and made "Main Stream" in the Last decade, I'D say.
