2024-12-14 15:10:08 +0000 UTCNice reaction. I just wanted to add that Wendi Richter absolutely knew it was Moolah. Everyone in the åren can see it and she moves like Moolah. It was Vince who decided to take the title away. My own theory of that match is that it's a work and a continuation of how Wendi won the title by only lifting her shoulder. It's very unclear if it was meant for Wendi to hold it any longer from the start. Some things might have broken down backstage and she was let go, probably over her wanting a bigger pay. I think it was a balanced documentary. I'm happy womens wrestling is where it is today even though it needs to get further. It's nice to have Giulia in WWE now.

It’s a very “it didn’t happen to me thus it’s a lie and how dare you” attitude and I have no respect for it.

2024-12-13 05:28:25 +0000 UTCalso just wanted to add that in the doc it says that Moolah ran the womens division for 30 years... yes she had the longest title run in WWE history a single title run from 1956 to 1984 (27 years) and yes that was the only women's singles title

Since you mentioned it at the beginning the first season of Dark Side Of The Ring was narrated by former Wrestler and Booker Dutch Mantel. Jericho narrated S2-S5 and will presumably narrate season 6 when that comes out next year

2024-12-12 23:08:40 +0000 UTCThis was before y'all started watching but back in 2018, WWE wanted to start doing the women equalivent to the men's andre the giant memorial battle royal for wrestlemania called the faboulas moolah battle royal. Of course, it got backlash to the point where snickers, who was always the sponsor for mania for years around that time for some reason, threatened to terminate their sponsor deal i think. Similar to what slim jim did to wwe if they didn't get rid of vince. So instead, they just called it the WWE Women Battle Royal
