2024-11-24 06:06:16 +0000 UTCWhen Edge did Jades Finisher, it was actually tribute to his wife, Hall of Famer beth phoenix, who did that finisher and called it the glam slam. Also Edge's injury was 100% Real. In the build up to WrestleMania 27, which he would find out afterwards it would be his last match, he took a chair shot and he said his arms went numb. I won't spoil it in case a tally tier wants to send it, but there is a documentary that explains how and why Edge was able to come back after his career ending neck injury

2024-11-13 19:15:02 +0000 UTCHey josh no it wasant a work mate in 2011 after mania 27 Edge last match was del rio at that mania after that doctors told him if he wrestles again he could be paralysed so he had to retire he relinquished the world title I believec then Christian faced del rio in a ladder match for it then edge made few apperances then over the years his neck got lot better think he had stemcell surgery then doctors checked him out and they said u can wrestle now ur neck safe enough to do it saraya in aew had exact same injury she had to retire for 5 years then came back as it got better awesome both wrestled again as at 1 point in there lives they were told they could never do it again im very happy for them

2024-11-13 16:05:10 +0000 UTCAt some point I plan on submitting the match where he took the bump that led to his neck injury but I won’t say what the match in particular is. It’s a great match, I’m not just submitting it so they can see a horrible bump that led to a broken neck.

Sadly, the Cell match with Seth was the last great thing he did in his WWE run before things went down hill.
