2024-10-15 15:57:51 +0000 UTCIt's pretty difficult to explain the Broken Matt Hardy character. In TNA, it started off as a flopping serious storyline between Matt and Jeff. But then they kinda embraced the "so bad that it's good" aspect of it and it became a massive draw for TNA. One of the few characters brought straight over from another company into WWE. It was done surprisingly well in WWE, just not quite as good.

Bray turned face on the WrestleMania 34 kick off helping Matt win the Andre Battle Royal, they won the Raw Tag Titles at the first Saudi show Greatest Royal Rumble, lost them to Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel and they Bray took several months off. The teases for the Firefly Funhouse started on the Raw after Mania 35.

2024-10-15 02:15:06 +0000 UTCYes, the match at The Horror Show @ Extreme Rules 2020 was a Wyatt Swamp Fight between Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt. The "Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" took place at Backlash 2020 btw Randy Orton and Edge, a rematch from WrestleMania. The MITB in 2020 was so much fun and unique, it has to be recommended soon!

Something Matt said about this match was Vince did not get it in the slightest. Vince even had Michael Cole bury it on commentary before it happened. According to Matt, Vince told him that if fans liked this match, than he’s lost touch. Fans really liked this.

2024-10-14 23:46:04 +0000 UTCThere is a whole type of Matches called cinematic matches so there are more like this, here is a list of some Matt had another one in TNA, I forget vs who At Covid WrestleMania there was 2 The Boneyard Match Firefly Fun House Match There was one in NXT called Rebel Heart vs Black Heart One Final Beat (with your journey on Patreon you will prob get to this one sooner rather then later tbh) The Horror Show at Extreme Rules had one I forget the actual name of it, it might of been the Swamp Fight I forget where this one is at in WWE but there is one called The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever, which is another take on the Cinematic style of matches Idk much about them, or the reception but I believe Stadium Stampede from AEW is a cinematic match And the other one on the top of my head is Both Money in the Bank from 2020 (they are also 2 matches but take place in same slot so it is basically 2 matches in one)

I'll leave it to someone else to explain because honestly I don't even know where I'd begin with that. It would also take way more than just one comment to explain properly as he essentially created an entire universe out of it. 2024-10-14 23:20:48 +0000 UTCI’m from Moore County, NC where the Hardy’s are from so even when I wasn’t watching wrestling I always kept up with them. I wasn’t watching anything WWE related at this point but I’ve heard this time in WWE wasn’t a bright spot for Matt or Jeff. Around this time Matt and Jeff had some sort of match that was so bad that Vince literally cut it from the Hulu broadcast that was going out. He cut out that part to not be shown to viewers it was so bad. Glad that they are doing better now though hopefully WWE brings them back for an another run. People say that Matt and Jeff are broken down and I see that if they can’t go physically they can’t go. But these guys are literally my hometown guys I want to see em get that last WWE run.
