The Toothless Aggression period was my bread and butter. I was into the older stuff because the Michael’s/Hogan feud was heating up just as I started watching regularly. Cultaholic’s 4-parter on the Golden Era also got me into it again. I think it would be good to do a few weeks that are either era or decade focused, I agree that majority vote is going to bias towards the ~2000 - 2015 stuff.

2024-07-20 13:11:52 +0000 UTCYeah. The majority of people on here are definitely in their 20s and 30s because of how much 2000s and 2010s wrestling has been suggested. Personally I prefer attitude era late 90s wrestling but in terms of promos there's nothing better than early 80s NWA Jim Crockett Promotions with Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, and Arn Anderson.

Was also going to choose Paul Heyman shooting on Vince in 2001 but it needs a lot of context. Also considered Mick Foley and Terry Funk from 2006 where Funk says some hilariously fucked up shit to Foley.

2024-07-15 15:17:32 +0000 UTCI think it's a generational thing. Most Ric Flair fans are in their 50s and 60s and at the least in their 40s if they grew up watching late 90s wcw. Just look at how many votes Dusty Rhodes got. I think most people on here are in their 20s and 30s for the most part hence the huge amount 2000s and 2010s content and very little of the pre-21st century content.

I will say you're coming at the pipe bomb with current wwe mentality, so the things he says might not seem so shocking because the WWE you know is less PG now. But during that time in WWE there were so many rules in place of what can't be mentioned etc so it was so mind blowing at the time!
