QUEST PACK 10 : Tor Awakens

The chamber has been discovered, the slimes have been slain, and the ritual has been completed. As the Tear of Hemel disappears right before your eyes, a distant rumble is heard from the tunnels around you. The ground beneath begins to tremble, turning quickly to violent tremors. Suddenly, amber starts to flood the chamber, as the vessels and veins of The Forgotten God fill with its lifeblood once more. Tor has arisen.

For the hill Dryfoot is built on is, in reality, not a hill at all. It is the back of the enormous slumbering turtle-god of the Boggards, put to sleep by Hemel many centuries ago. When the party - or someone else entirely - completes the ancient Boggard ritual in the Heart of Amber, the slumbering titan is awakened!

Quest Pack 10: Tor Awakens reveals the living titan, and has adventurers deal with the immediate consequences of the awakening of this beast. From a thrilling escape sequence through the quickly flooding smuggler's tunnels, to discovering the wide-spread destruction wrought on the town as the behemoth takes its first steps into this age, players will uncover what has been at the heart of Dryfoot all along...

Quest Pack 10 contains:

What's to come for the remainder of the campaign is all about the fallout of this event. Adventurers will be trying to find out what's happening and why, perhaps saving townsfolk in peril (or making use of the chaos to fill their pockets!) and finding a way to stop Tor before it tramples entire cities beneath its enormous feet!

We are thrilled to finally share this part of the story, and can't wait to hear what adventurers will do when they find out that the Forgotten God was below their feet this whole time...

It does! Thank you!

Hi Kalynn! For the chase scene through the tunnels there is a filled in example on one of the chase scene maker sheets in QP10. It lists the speed of the amber as being 30 feet. Hope this helps?

I'm about to run the chase scene and I would like to use the escape the tunnels that you have as an example. What would be the best way to determine the speed of the slime?

Hey Gene, We have not come up with a definitive name for this world / realm / planet as a whole yet - We've simply not needed one thus far. We will inevitably have to nail one down, but so far have been unable to settle on something that we REALLY like. What I can tell you is that the area that "The Forgotten God" takes place in is divided into three primary regions: The Pridelands to the West, the Faymillion Forest to the East with the Soddenweald in the middle.

I would love to see the story arch of this campaign grow further so that s party currently going through "The Forgotten God" could advance further in their campaign. So long as you continue telling stories in your world's setting that will be possible. I am just hoping that you will continue with adventures that progress and grow along with players who have started from the beginning of the Quest Pack 01. :) Incidentally, is there a name for this world / realm / planet etc. as a whole?

Hello Gene, We like to think of "The Forgotten God" as the first of many stories we'd like to share about this world. We would love to be able to tell you guys all about Siver Spires, Lionsgate, Dragonsprings, the Faymillion Forest, the Dread Wastes and, eventually, beyond! We feel confident that as long as the patreon remains funded, we will have more Quest Packs to make. The Forgotten God still has a few more Quest Packs to go before we can really wrap it up, and when we do, we'll let you guys know how we want to proceed :) Is there any story in particular you are looking forward to hearing? Cheers, - Niels & Rose

Thank you again for a wonderful and epic Quest Pack! I've got a question I'd like to ask: Will the story of "The Forgotten God" continue in the future Quest Packs, be it a new story arch or a supplement to the aftermath of this chapter? Or is something entirely new is planned for the future releases?
