Life Update - Work and 110 changes

A quick update - Beginning on the bodywork

Hello guys, another long overdue update but we're getting there this time. With the adaptor plate and shaft here the drivetrain will be assembled and put in the chassis at some point, while I'm waiting for some bolts we're starting work on the body. It's the start of a very long job but awesome to finally see some progress!

Hi guys I'm still alive and finally back with some content. Only a small vid today but will be bringing more throughout the week and back to one each Sunday. Will have the 90 back together this week and going over some turbo bits with that as well as some behind the scenes footage from Rich on Project Sleeper. Thanks for your patience guys.

October update

Hi guys, it's been a pretty wild month personally and not much Landrovering has been happening unfortunately. The good news is that we'll be dropping a YouTube vid and kickstarting the channel which has pretty much died! Next week I'll be in touch with Rallyraid to get the adaptor for Project Sleeper's gearbox. I'm going all out to get the rolling chassis built by Christmas.

Where the heck have the vids gone?!

Hi guys thanks for your patience, normal vids will resume soon I've just been super busy with personal stuff. The 90's been sat in the garden for weeks now, next vid will be sorting it out finally and I'll get Rich to do some boss filming for it!

Hi guys hope you liked last Sunday's vid, what marathon but we got there in the end! This week's all about getting the 90 back on the road with a new exhaust, and sending out the stickers and posters. I'm still missing a few emails with your addresses so please check your spam folders just in case. 

With the Merc gone all the focus is on the 90 and 110. You might have seen I've set a goal to have 100 people following on here because that'll help speed things up massively.

New downpipe, new merch, new vid every Sunday!

Things are moving and the 90's nearly done, the car's nearly sold and in a few week's the 110 will be a rolling chassis. Post has slowed progress down a bit, I'd liked to have had the 90's slave cylinder fitted by now, but it's all coming together.

I haven't had everyone reply to the emails I sent out so please check your spam folders, excited to have some new merch out. 

Expect to see a running 90 and one less car next week!

Project Sleeper - Respray or leave it as it is?

Pretty self-explanatory this one, we've always been set on a full respray trying to closely match the 90's colour scheme. I'd be interested to see what you guys think!

Finally starting on cleaning up all of the bodywork and it's a mess! The  next few vids will be covering lots of stuff that needs doing while I save up for the adaptor plate. Sorry for the short vid it's just a quick update!

Happy Friday guys! Back with a short vid finishing up some bits in the 90. It's at about 20psi now and we still haven't turned the fuel up. The plan's to keep it nice and reliable and expect to see a lot more 110 content from now on.

Expect better camerawork too ;)

Project Sleeper Update - May

Hope everyone's enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend and hope you liked the Greenlaning vid! 

Next month I want to start the process of mounting the engine and gearbox into the 110's chassis. This needs to be done properly and I don't want to use any 'off the shelf' engine mounts because we're using the BMW box and everything needs to be moved back 10cm.

In other news we managed to buy this decent bulkhead for £350 at the Malvern 4x4 Spares Day!

This week - Starting the 90 and having all the gearbox parts for the 110

Hi everyone hope you're enjoying the long weekend! I'm working on the final vid putting the 90 back together before we shift over to the 110. We had a week off after snapping the rocker shaft bolts off in the cylinder head and should be firing it up this weekend. Fingers crossed for no oil leaks...

Meanwhile lots of parts have been arriving from Tenaci in Sweden. The clutch for the 110 is an organic unsprung disc with the same SRE765 pressure plate. Finally the gearbox work can be finis...

Proper filming of Project Sleeper starting very soon!

Evening guys hope you're well! It's been a bit quiet but things are happening behind the scenes. I'm waiting for the new rocker shaft bolts for the 90 and the clutch plate for the 110 still. 

Also looking at getting a replacement bulkhead for the 110 and trawling eBay constantly for second hand ones. I'm thinking of buying a cheaper one, repairing it and getting it galvanised eventually. This should be cheaper than buying a galv one outright and we'll be able to film the whole proc...

Hi guys we've been busy getting the 90 sorted for this weekend where we're hoping to finish sorting the engine out. Hopefully this is interesting and there's been some work on the 110 in the background too this week so there'll be more vids on that after this weekend!
