Update Video

Ah fella, you’re just describing burnout, it happens to almost everyone. There is no cure, you just need to let it pass. Hopefully you have the luxury of taking some time away from the work, that can help. 50 hours is still far too much, if you can’t. Do 5 a day max, and leave one side of lunch work free, depending on whether you’re an early or late person. That can also help pull you out of the procrastination spiral. You might also want to find something else to do, another hobby or a completely unrelated project. It helps knock your mind out of the rut. The further away the better. Gardening, like, or baking, or some such. New places, new people, new skills to learn, new problems to solve. Good luck!

I'm supportive of whatever keeps you happy. I think the Garfield video is the kind of video you'd rarely make anyway. Might be time to dive into less intensive topics. That said, a video on the Monday Night Wars of wrestling would be welcome <3 It might be time to bring on some volunteer editors and researchers? Like the Right Opinion has an amazing support system for his longer videos and he's spoken about how it helps a lot.

You hit the nail on the head. Your health should be your first AND second priority. I didn’t sub to you on Patreon because I expect a rapid or even regular upload schedule. I subbed because I love your content and I think you should be supported. Supporting you doesn’t just mean supporting your work, it means supporting YOU. Whether you spend that time making content or spend it taking time to rest and relax mentally and physically, those are equally as valuable to me. You keep living your life and being your best self and I know you’ll always have people to support you.

I want to be clear about something and I think others may be in those boat as well. I've been a fan of your work for years. I love nearly every video you've made, and I'm here for anything you want to make, whatever direction you want to go. I know that after the response to the Gorefield you might feel that we're all new paterons and we expect that kind/level of video going forward. That's not the case for me.
