Switching to Monthly Payments
Added 2021-01-27 15:55:26 +0000 UTCHey guys, just a little note, as I mentioned in my last post, I'm going to be switching the payment plan on patreon to “Monthly” as opposed to “Per Video.”
The main reason for this, is for the last two years, I've settled into videos taking 3 to 5 weeks to complete (depending on the scope of the video). This is a pace I’m most comfortable working at, as it gives me enough time to make videos to a standard I'm happy with, while also releasing videos at a decent pace (well, at least for me).
But it can sometimes lead to problems payment wise, with zero charges one month, and then two the next, depending on when the video falls. It adds a layer of stress to scheduling videos, and makes things like holidays kind of a nightmare. So switching to monthly gives me a bit more flexibility with my release schedule, as well as letting you know exactly how much you’re going to be charged each month.
On payment/ production end of things, nothings going to change, if you were here all last year, its going to be the same amount of charges this year, and my working week is still five to six days, 8am to 6pm, (although that can increase depending on if its a deadline week), so I'm not planning to slow the production down, or make longer videos (not saying Id never make a two hour video, but its not on the cards right now.)
I did need to take some time off recently due to general burn out after the Undertale video, but the first video of the new year will be out the first weekend of February (barring any unforeseen disasters) with a second video later that month.

Plus as you provide great content, it's highly important to give your body and creative mind a break from time to time.
