So Gantz is a super weird series. I’ve been really reluctant to cover this one for a while cause I think Gantz has a lot of problematic elements, but its also a series that's been pretty near and dear to me, and trying to strike the balance of not endorsing the parts of it I don’t like while while acknowledging what i do was difficult, definitely not a position I’d be keen to put myself in again.
That said im reasonably happy with how the video turned out, it was really fun to dive into Gantzs zanier aspects as well as talk about it’s horror of it.
Con season is finally done so the wait for the next video shouldn’t be quite as long, I love attending conventions but I man, traveling while trying to keep up a consistent work flow is very difficult, and I’m really looking forward to settling back into a routine for a while. I'm starting work on something I've been waiting to do since I started this channel, super excited for you guys to see it later in the year :)

Inspired by this video I went and read the whole manga in 3 days. (I had a long weekend.) I gotta say it was a real trip, an emotional rollercoaster. It was messy and there was a lot of nonsense, but in the end I was effected in some weird way that I didn't expect. It almost felt like a challenge. Can I read through it and stay sane? I found out that I am not as jaded and cold as I thought. I felt a lot during the experince. And that means something. I can't really say if I liked it or not, but it really made me feel things.

However your representation of the characters and themes gave me a new found (all be it small) amount of respect for the Manga. (The manga seems to have more visual quality than compared to the anime based on the images you have shown). Keep up the good work!
