The Undertaker: Long Term Story Telling in Wrestling

So after nearly a year, we’re doing another video on wrestling.

This was kind of scary one to do for a lot of reasons, for one its been a while since I did a video of this length, but also, the last wrestling video I did is one that people get the most passionate about, and that’s a lot to live up to. I didn’t want to try and recreate that video so I took it a different direction, focusing more on the individual character of the Undertaker. It’s tricky because I know the majority of my audience probably doesn’t watch wrestling but I also think its important to make videos about stuff you're passionate about.  I want everyone to be able to enjoy it, so it’s a tough balance between explaining the basic concepts, and keeping the video moving at a steady pace. 

Overall I think I’m really happy with how it turned out! Although I am writing this on the morning of the upload, and at this stage I never really know how I feel about a video, you kind of go numb to it over the course of a dozen or so viewings, I'm sure its not perfect, but I gave it everything I had. 

I’ve been working a lot on work/ life balance stuff, which has been tricky, but I think it’s done me a lot of good, I started a doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes in the mornings, and thats been great for blowing off stress and getting me to leave the apartment. I’m generally trying to limit myself to around 10 hours work a day and doing my best to take a full weekend when I can, I’m still getting the hang of it and I feel guilty for not working, like, all the time, but I think it’s a much more sustainable way to live.
