The Stylistic Influences of Cuphead

A new video just went live on the channel!

I don't talk about video games on the channel that often, mainly because I'm still getting my head around the best setup/ settings for capturing footage, but I had to talk about Cuphead. It’s a game I knew I was gonna have some interest in but I really didn’t expect it to become one of my favorites of the year like it has, and the more research into it I did cooler I thought it was.

As ever I cut a huge amount out of this video in order to get the flow right, I haven't done a shorter video in a while (well short by my standards I guess), but I’ve done a lot of long heavy videos recently and I thought a shorter one would make for a nice change of pace, and I think it did, this is probably my favourite video I've made in some time.

I had to really keep myself from making this video nearly entirely about Ub Iwerks, he was a fascinating guy, he was basicly this Savant who mastered everything he took up, he'd regularly get so good at something he had completle mastery over it, and would then drop it and move on to something else, he was an expert marksman with a bow, and was able to roll a 310 in bowling, alongside designing a large portion of Disneyland. I’d really advise reading up on him if you're at all interested.
