Now that this company is in the news, and facing hearings before congress, I would really like to know if this panned out the way Destin hoped. I totally can believe it’s all drummed-up stuff from media and lawmakers, but I thought they threw away genetic material, and didn’t keep detailed genetic data. Maybe I need to watch the video again carefully, but I would be very interested in an update if there has been one.

Tara being nervous in front of a camera is the cutest thing I've seen all week!

Yes please!

I'd be interested (if possible) to see the raw footage for all the nitty gritty info that was left out.

Jonathan Tang

What a great succinct explanation. You now have me curious about @destinsbride's vlog.

Excellent use of Psalm 139! 😎 Rock on, brother! 👍🏻 "...my bones were not hidden from you, when I was made in secret and sewed together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw me when I was inside the womb. All the days ordained for me were recorded in your scroll before one of them came into existence." -Beau / Knok.org

Great work as always. Cheers

I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see your wife's blogs. :(

Rickard Dahlstrand

I'd do it if it wasn't £150 :S I can't afford that just to be told possibly scary genetic info or to research ancestry

My wife went through Ancestry as she was more interested in the family tree aspect. It turns out that we got hooked on the genealogy part of the site and had family trees mapped before she got results. The DNA confirmed the genealogy -- she is basically 100% Acadian.

I did this some months ago. It says I've got a marker for developing Alzheimer's disease. My father has it, my grandfather had it, my great-grandfather had it. I don't like the result but I can't be surprised.

Awesome vid. I'm interested in doing the 23 and me, went to the 23andme.com/smarter site, even. But that price point is a bit too rich for me blood... er... spit.
