A personal note from my State Senator!

He took the time to write me a personal note and mail it to me! How cool is that! If you click that blue box to download the file right there ↗ on the Patreon post you can see the file left-side up. This is the same State Senator that helped me get a law changed several years ago! I guess this goes to show you that not all politicians are unhelpful! Sorry about the photo rotation. Exactly. Then they changed the federal law to what it should be. Basically it then said "Whatever the law in the State Parks is... that's now the law in the Federal Park within the borders of that State". The problem was that the Alabama law prohibited carrying in State Parks. That's what he helped get changed.... in a really intelligent way which avoided a big fight in the senate.

2014-07-11 04:26:00 +0000 UTCI kayaked on some Federal land often and didn't realize there was gators.... until one slipped in the water and swam towards my daughter and I. I freaked out, paddled like a madman towards shore knowing that my .357 magnum could save us if we got into a bind. Afterwards I found out the .357 was illegal for me to have, even though I was a licensed conceal carry permit holder. I wrote a letter explaining the situation and he helped change the law so I could lawfully protect my daughter. Pretty awesome stuff.
